The ALTA GROUP is building a pilot plant (called ACT I) to demonstrate the in-house developed production method for High Purity grade green cyclic carbonates by using CO2 and an epoxide as feedstock. By utilising industry best practices for process safety, risk- identification and reduction, we ensure that our process is fully contained. We reduce hydrocarbon and green-house gas emissions by design, in line with our continuous commitment to the protection of the environment. The pilot plant will be located at Valuepark Terneuzen.
