The ALTA GROUP has an extensive global patent portfolio through which its innovative and novel knowledge is protected. We actively invest in R&D and expect to expand our patent position accordingly. This helps us in the excecution of our projects that will contribute to the climate action that is so important in our industry today. In particular, we have been able to advance on our focus project for green cyclic carbonates due to an extensive R&D activity. This enabled us to create a sustainable manufacturing process that produces high purity products. This combination is important, since the high purity of our products qualifies them to be used as a component for electrolytes in the fast growing European battery industry. Furthermore, our products features a very low carbon footprint and therefore allows our customers to reduce theirs.
